Stay Classy apparel launch
Stay Classy – a simple reminder, like counting to ten, to remember to think before you act, to think before you say, and above all to evidently be classy. It’s a reminder to never lose your cool and to never give up in all that you do. A classy woman, stylish and sophisticated, acknowledges her rights from wrongs and knows how to handle her troubles left and right. She’s driven and keeps her priorities straight, even when complication brews – relationships, careers, and everything in between. To put it quite lightly, a classy woman knows how to stay classy.
Every woman has or will have a series of unforunate events in her life. I created Stay Classy as a reminder that bad things happen on a constant but it’s up to ourselves to be classy and stay classy. When you get mad, upset, or disappointed, inhale then exhale, think of things at a different perspective, then act or say – a lot of times, it makes a difference. many times, many things are done on impulse, needless to say there are those who lack thought into what they want to achieve in any situation. I wanted to remind everybody that it’s important to “control your emotions before your emotions control you.” I’ve been in many situations I would like to forget and even though they’re all learning experiences, I have many actions that I regret. I’ve acted upon impulse and bad energy that provoked me, but when I think about the past I think that many things could have been prevented if I just stopped and thought for a second that things could be a different way and have a different outcome. I’m not advising that it doesn’t matter what you do in the end, but if we all acted a different way, it would be a different end, perhaps a better one. So, in all that you say and all that you do, remember to be classy, Stay Classy.
Now that I gave you a little long-awaited bio on Stay Classy and my reasons for it, I must say: It has finally been done – after about a year, I put Stay Classy on some limited edition crop tops. I have to admit, an apparel company of any sort takes a lot of time, money and dedication, like all things worth it. It feels very accomplishing to have done so, even with a mix of feedback for it. I thank you all for your support and in the mere future hope to accomplish more things with it, maybe in a more sped-up manner. Unfortunately, this is just the beginning and it will take a long time to become established but in time and with more purpose, it will happen.
In preparation for the launch, my two best friends Erika and Kathrine helped me out in a photoshoot and were lovely models, photographers, and lighting people that made the photoshoot a success. We managed to go to our infamous brick wall to take pictures mainly because we didn’t have much time to scope out new places due to my end and my suppliers end – we both weren’t ready for a thing like this to happen so soon. Thankfully, brick walls never get old, I swear! A blue, concrete wall was also in aid that provided great contrast for the pictures as well. Incidentally, this was the first time I brought my softbox out and one of a handful of times actually using my external flash out so please excuse my novice lighting skills – I promise it will get better in time!
In addition, these one size fits most shirts will soon be available to purchase at http://stayclassy.bigcartel.com at a price yet to be determined. We will be launching these limited edition crop tops tomorrow, Friday, at Fresh Cafe on Queen Street from 6-11pm for First Lady’s 2nd annual expo. Tickets for the event may be purchased at http://firstladyexpo.eventbrite.com/ for $10.
Without further ado, please enjoy the pictures I have prepared for you.

Aloha to all, and to all Stay Classy!
